RetailCo Cloud Migration

Overview

RetailCo was running aging on-premise servers that were causing frequent downtime during peak sales periods. We planned and executed a full cloud migration to AWS with zero data loss and minimal disruption.

The Challenge

The existing infrastructure had undocumented dependencies and tightly coupled services. Migrating without downtime during an active retail season required careful planning and a phased rollout strategy.

Our Solution

We containerized all services using Docker, defined infrastructure as code with Terraform, and used AWS blue-green deployment to cut over with zero downtime. A full DR (disaster recovery) setup was included from day one.
